Doug Shank, Associate Director of Operations

April 30, 2007 - The Triangle Futbol Club is pleased to announce that Doug Shank will be joining the club as the new Associate Director of Operations. Having previously been a TFC staff coach, Doug comes back to TFC bringing with him over 15 years of coaching and administrative experience from the youth level up through the college game. "We are thrilled to have someone of Doug's caliber join the TFC family and know he is going to accomplish great things for our club. Doug is well respected in the soccer community and comes with a wealth of experience on and off the field" said Scott Bosworth, President of Triangle FC.

Doug is a former Women's Assistant Coach at Stony Brook University (NY), former Women's Head Coach at Greensboro College ('00-'04), former Head Region 1 staff coach and most recently a full time staff member of Triangle United. He holds an USSF 'A' License, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and is currently a member of the NCYSA ODP coaching staff.

Among Doug's primary roles within TFC will be team practice/game scheduling, marketing/sponsorships and coaching of teams. He is married to his wife Tammy and they have 2 children, Keegan (18 months) and Dominic (2 weeks old).
