Triangle Futbol Club (TFC) invites you to partner with us in sponsoring our highly regarded Triangle Futbol Club Friendlies event.

The TFC Friendlies is a much anticipated annual soccer event that features “friendly” matches and College Showcase matches for boys and girls aged 11-18. The event is unique in its format and atmosphere, emphasizing high levels of play in a collegial setting, focusing on the game rather than the trophy. Entry fees for participating teams are 20-40% lower than those of other highly competitive tournaments. The TFC Friendlies stand out as an event where civic-minded organizations and individuals can support the personal development of our youth and their passion for the game of soccer.

 About Sponsorship Opportunities

Additionally, the size and popularity of the TFC Friendlies make it attractive for companies to participate in and sponsor the event. In 2006, an estimated 10,000 players, family members, youth coaches, college coaches, and officials converged on the TFC Friendlies venues. This included nearly 300 teams from 13 states on the Eastern seaboard, and college coaches from more than 100 Division I, II, and III colleges and universities. The event has a substantial economic impact on local businesses, including hotel, restaurant, and retail, and holds appeal for regional and national companies.

Please see the attached information about the available Sponsor Levels and Feature Sponsorships. All sponsor contributions will be used by TFC to offset the costs of the TFC Friendlies and to support TFC youth soccer programs. Twenty five percent of Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze sponsor contributions will be added to the Triangle Futbol Club Scholarship fund in the name of the sponsor. The TFC Scholarship fund is aimed specifically at providing less privileged youth the opportunity to practice and play soccer at the highest levels of performance.

Platinum Sponsor  $15,000

The marquee sponsor of the event. The name of the event itself will include the sponsor’s name (for example, “The 2007 Acme TFC Friendlies”). All communications, t-shirts, publications, and web placements will carry the name of the Platinum Sponsor. The Platinum Sponsor is also entitled to all of the benefits of a Gold Sponsor.

	Sponsor identified as Silver Sponsor on TFC Friendlies web site, along with link to Sponsor web site.

	Sponsor inserts included  in TFC Friendlies gift  bag which will be distributed to teams and college coaches (inserts provided by sponsor)
	Sponsor provided space for one half-page ad in college coach profile book (advertisement design and copy provided by sponsor).

Feature Sponsors

In addition to the sponsor levels, several opportunities exist for special event or audience-oriented sponsorships. These “Feature Sponsors” subsidize all or part of the costs of a specific event or item at the Friendlies. That event or item
will carry the sponsor’s name (for example, the “ACME All-Star Matches”)
