Thoughts from Jason after hoisting the National Trophy - “The players and staff put in tremendous thought and effort into being the best team we could be and enjoyed all the times spent together, training and competing, no matter what challenges came our way. These experiences and connections grew through adversity and transcended the game. The result was a 21st NCAA Championship for UNC Women's Soccer and, for me, one of the most memorable and special seasons I have ever had the great fortune to be part of. “

The Super Y-League is pleased to announce the players nominated and selected for the 2012/13 SYL Olympic Development Program National Camps. Each nominated player has been identified as one of the top players in their birth year, and among the top two percent of players in the Super Y-League.

Fresh off winning the U16 Super Y-League National Championship, the USL released their All-Tournament Team and it featured 3 players from TFC. Caroline Houser was the Golden Boot Award winner having tallied 5 goals and 2 assists in the 5 games of competition. Her twin sister Emma joins her on the All-Tournament Team as well as GK Blakeney Blair who only conceded 1 goal during the event and that came in the Final. Congrats to all 3 Girls on this prestigious honor.

Over 50 former Triangle Futbol Club Boys and Girls players came out on Sunday, Dec 16th at WakeMed Soccer Park to play in the 5th Annual TFC Alumni Game. After the game, the players all went to Upper Deck Sports in Cary to eat. Thanks to Tom and Patti Kaznowski for hosting the TFC Alumni Social at Upper Deck. Hope to see everyone again in 2013!
