The Triangle Futbol Club is pleased to announce Katie Ely as the newest member of the coaching staff as the Director of Goalkeeping.
 

Katie just completed her 1st year as an assistant coach with the Duke University Women’s Soccer team which advanced to the National Championship game of the College Cup in December. At Duke, Katie coached 2nd Team All-ACC GK Tara Campbell. Prior to Duke, Katie spent 4 years at Syracuse where her goalkeepers thrived setting Syracuse records for career shutouts and garnering Big East All-Rookie Team honors.
 

Katie holds a U.S.S.F. “B” coaching license and an NSCAA National Goalkeeper License. Katie has also served on the Region I coaching staff and most recently been working with NC ODP.
 

She will direct all areas of the goalkeeping program at TFC from training to curriculum, to match analysis.
