TDA ACADEMY

TDA PROGRAM  (U8 - U12 Boys and Girls) 

The TDA (Triangle Development Academy) is an excellent way to prepare players for the classic programs at U11 and above.  Focused completely on skill development and small group tactics this program allows players to become more familiar with the skills necessary to compete at a higher level of classic soccer without the pressure of competitive league play and standings.

Evaluations are conducted in May / June and teams are formed on a Regional Basis in Durham, Orange and Wake Counties.  Training is held twice per week in your Regional Area.  Games are typically Sunday afternoons and TFC Teams compete in the TADL (Triangle Area Development League) so all games are within the Triangle Area and will participate in selected NCYSA Academy Festivals.  In addition, each team will compete in 1 to 2 local tournaments per year.

The academy season is typically broken into two parts:  August to November and February to May with teams taking a break from all events during December and January.
